Do you have mobility problems and difficulty when using public transport?

By voicing their difficulties with using public transport members of Advocare created an Advocarers Forum and were instrumental in improving transport services for people with poor mobility. Still more could be done to help isolated older people and if you would like affordable door-to-door transport:

Research shows that a GP can see three people in the time it takes them to do a home visit which is not always satisfactory as the visiting doctor doesn’t always have the appropriate equipment and facilities. We are proposing a door-to-door shuttle service for taking groups of people unable to use public transport to their doctors’ surgeries, hospital or community healthcare services and for visiting loved-ones in care homes.
