To become a member of Advocare

If you are over eighteen and you are or have been looking after someone who is frail, sick or disabled you can become a member of Advocare.

Advocare - Caring for Carers is a small charity based in Poole that supports carers and former carers and empowers them to have a free voice.

Our Caring for Carers service offers help and information, support and advocacy to help carers deal with some of the demands of their caregiving role.

We provide individual and group support. Programmes developed from our own insights and collective caring experience help carers to live their lives more effectively.

As a member of Advocare you can join our Advocarers group to meet and make friends with other carers and former carers. We meet regularly to discuss matters of special concern to carers, organise social gatherings from time and arrange workshops.
