The Advocare Caring for Carers Service
Our free, independent Caring for Carers service is run for carers by former carers and offers help, information, support and advocacy to those experiencing difficulty with the demands of their caregiving role.
Help and information
Relevant to the carer's unique situation including how to access expert advice on assessments, rights and entitlement; guidance on how to obtain services and small-scale financial help.

- Therapy - for depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss.
- Advocare After-Care - there is life after full-time caregiving ends.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" (Benjamin Franklin 1706-1790)
By caring appropriately for carers Advocare helps to prevent crisis and the unwanted or premature institutionalisation of vulnerable people.
